2023 Symposium Poster and presentations

The Southeastern Fracture Symposium holds an annual research think tank session dedicated to furthering innovation and exchanging ideas for advancement in Orthopedic Trauma.

The research consortium group is well recognized for its research endeavors through national conference presentations and publications.

Each year at the Symposium, selected abstracts are presented and an awards ceremony is held for the top three presentations. Winners will receive a monetary stipend.

Next Steps for Presenters:

Thank you for your submissions for the 2023 SEFS Poster and Presentation Session! Due to the fantastic amount of participation this year, we have decided to move forward with 6 podium presenters and 20 posters. Acceptance or rejection letters will be emailed to the Primary Contact listed. Notification of acceptance will be sent by December 1, 2022. Presenters will be provided with a discount for conference registration.

  • We will be selecting 6 abstracts to present at the podium during the conference. The top 3 presentations will receive a monetary award.

  • We will be selecting an additional 20 abstracts to present printed posters at the event during the Poster Session. It is the presenter's responsibility to have posters printed for the event. Easels will be provided.

Note: Podium presenters unable to present their abstract at the meeting can assign a substitute, but presenters can only present one podium presentation at the meeting

A copy of the complete manuscript may be requested for award consideration as determined by the SEFS Program Committee. The stipend for the award paper is contingent on the Resident/Fellow Primary Author listed on the Abstract Submission Form presenting the paper at the Annual Meeting

SEFC reserves the right to withdraw a presentation at any time

It is the responsibility of the submitting author to communicate all abstract information to authors and presentation information to presenting authors.
